At ETX Funding, we provide our traders with the flexibility of choosing their trading styles and strategies. However, we do have restrictions in place to prevent abusive practices and ensure fair simulated trading experiences. Below, you'll find a comprehensive list of prohibited trading practices. Violation of any of these requirements will result in immediate suspension and closing of your simulated trading account:

High Leverage and Risky Strategies: The use of high leverage and excessively risky trading strategies is strictly prohibited. Any deviation from this rule will result in immediate review and potential account suspension.

Copy Trading: Engaging in trades that mimic another trader or group of traders across multiple accounts is strictly prohibited. However, copying trades across your own accounts, which are under your user is permissible.

Using Market-Purchased Expert Advisors (EAs) that facilitate copy trading: To mitigate possibly violating this rule, we recommend using different set files or adjusting settings.

Reverse Trading/Group Hedging: Hedging or executing reverse trades within a single Solo (1-Phase) or Multi (2-Phase) Campaign account is permissible. However, executing a buy trade on one account and a sell trade on another account is strictly prohibited. This violates the rule against reverse trading or hedging across multiple trading accounts. Group hedging involves individuals coordinating opposing positions across one or multiple prop firms to reduce/eliminate risk and exploit prop firm rules. This practice is also strictly prohibited.

Account Management Services: Purchasing or providing live simulated accounts or account management services or engaging in passing services is strictly prohibited. Sharing your simulated account information or allowing someone else to pass a Campaign on your behalf is also strictly prohibited. Violation of this rule will result in the loss of all involved Campaign and/or Live Simulated Accounts.

HFT (High-Frequency Trading): High-frequency trading (HFT) is strictly prohibited at our firm. Engaging in HFT methods will be considered a violation, and any accounts associated with such practices will be terminated indefinitely.

We maintain these restrictions to uphold a fair and transparent simulated trading environment amongst the ETX Community.

If you have any questions regarding these rules, feel free to reach out to our support team at [email protected].
